Ashley Gilbert is a partner in the Civil Litigation Department. Her areas of practice include civil & commercial litigation, professional liability and products liability.
Ms. Gilbert is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University, where she attended the Honors College. As an undergraduate, she majored in History and minored in Political Science, concentrating her studies in the areas of constitutional law and American legal history. Ms. Gilbert was selected by the Honors College for Sophomore Honors Distinction in 1997. She was also a member of the Honors College Student Council.
Ms. Gilbert graduated from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in May 2004, earning the degrees of Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law. While in law school, she was on the Chancellor's List and earned a CALI award for the highest grade in professional ethics. As a member of the Community Service Committee of the Student Bar Association, Ms. Gilbert was also involved in organizing the Law Center's annual charity tennis tournament.
