Kelly Theard is a partner in the Construction Department. Her areas of practice includes construction defects, design, professional liability and third party injury claims. In addition to construction litigation, she practices in the area of redhibition, products liability and commercial litigation.
Ms. Theard earned her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law degree in May of 2004 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While in law school, she was named to the Chancellor's List and was actively involved in student organizations, including holding the position of Senior Class Secretary/Treasurer for the LSU Student Bar Association.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Theard attended the University of New Orleans, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications. While at UNO, Ms. Theard worked full-time as an Assignment Editor at ABC26 News for two years before leaving to attend law school.
