Mrs. Hayes represents the firm in Monroe, Louisiana. She is a member of the Labor & Employment Department. Her areas of practice include commercial litigation, labor and employment litigation, intellectual property, business litigation, and professional liability litigation.
Mrs. Hayes is a native of Baton Rouge and a May 2002 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert School of Law where she earned both a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Civil Law. She has been named to Thomson Reuters’s list of “Louisiana Rising Stars.” The list, published in Louisiana Super Lawyers magazine, recognizes the state’s best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Prior to law school, Mrs. Hayes attended University High School and Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts from the Manship School of Mass Communications. While at LSU, Mrs. Hayes concentrated her studies in the areas of print journalism and political science, and gained extensive journalism experience while working part-time at the Louisiana State University, Pennington Biomedical Research Center where she produced their in-house newsletter and assisted in production of their nation-wide newsletter, Inside Pennington.
