DK&S' Nancy Marshall Named Leader in Law

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Nancy J. Marshall, an attorney with Deutsch, Kerrigan and Stiles, has been named one of New Orleans' top fifty leaders in law by New Orleans CityBusiness for 2007. According to CityBusiness editors, the honorees were chosen by an elite national panel for success in law and contributions to the city that have set the pace for our legal community.
This is the latest in a line of recent honors for Ms. Marshall in 2007, including being named by Louisiana Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top five percent of lawyers in the state, being named one of The Best Lawyers in America 2007 (her second time receiving the honor), and receiving the Association of Women Attorneys' Special Recognition Award.
The honors reflect Marshall's dedication to being "the best lawyer you can be and doing the best job you can," said Marshall, a philosophy she stresses as co-head of the firm's Commercial & Professional Liability Law team.
In addition to the quality of her legal work, CityBusiness notes her involvement on the boards of several civic organizations, her pro bono work, and her fight for fairness in the city's assessor system.
