DK&S' Philip Lorio Announces 2007 Trial Academy

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Philip D. Lorio, an attorney with Deutsch, Kerrigan and Stiles and president of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, recently announced details of the LADC's 22nd Annual Trial Academy on July 26-28, 2007.
The Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel is the third largest defense counsel organization in the U.S. It's popular Trial Academy is a chance for young lawyers to learn trial advocacy from experienced trial lawyers, trial judges, and advocacy teachers during three days of intensive "learning-by-doing" training. Participants will learn to direct and cross examine lay and expert witnesses, lay foundations, use computer-generated demonstrative evidence, and make powerful and persuasive opening statements and closing arguments. All performances are videotaped and critiqued, and demonstrations and lectures complement participant performances.
