DK&S Attorneys Roux and Ryan Speak on Depositions

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Kermit L. "Tre'" Roux III and Isaac H. Ryan, two partners in Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles' New Orleans office, will be presenters at an upcoming CLE titled "Taking and Defending Effective Depositions in Louisiana." Roux will present on "Preliminary Consideration" and will also moderate the CLE. Ryan will present on "Expert Deposition."
Roux is experienced in all areas of litigation, including initial case analysis and strategy formation, coverage determination, preliminary exceptions including venue and jurisdictional challenges, motions for summary judgment, pre-trial motions, trials/arbitrations and writ applications/appeals. He has been fortunate enough to represent many of the world's largest insurance companies both domestic and London-based.
Ryan is currently engaged in a complex litigation practice covering products liability, medical malpractice, transportation, and commercial litigation. He frequently handles referrals of select appellate cases, and he is often called upon to consult with outside counsel in tailoring writ applications for submission to the Louisiana Supreme Court.
