Le Clercq Leads Planting of Over 100 Live Oaks

May 12 , 2008

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Frederic Theodore "Ted" Le Clercq, an employment and professional liability defense attorney with Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles' New Orleans office, spoke at a tree dedication ceremony today along with representatives of the City of New Orleans.  A mere four months after he had decided it was time for him to do something to give back to the city he loved post-Hurricane Katrina, he has planted over 100 live oaks on St. Charles Avenue.  In doing so, he has united neighborhood residents, local businesspeople, and even young schoolchildren to help bring his vision of “100 Oaks for 100 Years” to completion.

Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles is proud to be donating administrative services and costs to the project, so individual donations can go directly to the cost of purchasing, planting and maintaining the trees. The firm's involvement with this project is an example of its commitment to the communities it serves, and particularly to its commitment to the recovery of the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.
