DK&S Names Three New Partners

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles is pleased to announce that Ashley E. Gilbert, Kelly E. Theard and Abner C. Oglesby have been named partners in the firm.
Ashley E. Gilbert practices in New Orleans in the Commercial Litigation Department. Her areas of practice include professional liability, commercial litigation and products liability. Ms. Gilbert graduated from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in May of 2004, earning the degrees of Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law. While in law school, she was on the Chancellor's List and earned a CALI award for the highest grade in professional ethics.
Kelly E. Theard practices in New Orleans in the Construction Department. Her areas of practice include construction defects, design, professional liability and third party injury claims. In addition to construction litigation, she practices in the areas of redhibition, products liability and commercial litigation. Ms. Theard earned her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law degree in May of 2004 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.
Abner C. Oglesby practices in the Gulfport office of Deutsch, Kerrigan and Stiles. His areas of practice include real estate and other commercial transactions, insurance coverage, toxic torts and successions. Prior to coming to the firm, he practiced insurance defense in Tupelo, Mississippi, focusing on coverage and liability issues, and maintained a general practice in Stone County, Mississippi. Mr. Oglesby earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi in May of 2004.
